On 22 January 2017, 268 consumer complaints relating to telecommunications services were recorded in the Federal Communications Commission system, complaint volume fell from 393 complaints the previous day. Reports were received from 39 states and territories, with California accounting for the largest number of submissions at 46 complaints. Reports covered a range of issue types, with no single category dominating.
