Introduction

On 5 November 2018, 1831 consumer complaints relating to telecommunications services were recorded in the Federal Communications Commission system, this represented an increase from the 349 complaints recorded the previous day. Complaints were reported across 52 states and territories, and New Jersey generated the highest number of submissions with 587 complaints. Unwanted Calls recorded a slightly higher number of complaints than other issues.
