A total of 1093 consumer complaints relating to telecommunications services were recorded by the Federal Communications Commission on 17 August 2023, this was higher than the 814 complaints recorded the day before. Submissions were made from 51 states and territories, with Texas accounting for the highest number of complaints at 277. Complaints were most commonly associated with Unwanted Calls, accounting for 337 complaints.
