Introduction

On Saturday, 22 August 2015, the Federal Communications Commission recorded 593 consumer complaints relating to telecommunications services, complaint volume fell from 1094 complaints the previous day. Complaints were reported across 45 states and territories, with California slightly ahead of the other locations. Telemarketing (including do not call and spoofing) was the most frequently reported issue, with 185 complaints recorded.

Where the complaints came from

On 22 August 2015, the 593 complaints recorded by the Federal Communications Commission were reported from 410 cities across 45 states and territories. Complaint activity was fairly evenly distributed, with no single state or territory accounting for a large share of reports. At the city level, a significant concentration was observed in Maryland, where Frederick accounted for 48 of the 61 complaints recorded.
