Introduction

On Tuesday, 26 July 2016, the Federal Communications Commission recorded 1219 consumer complaints relating to telecommunications services, this was higher than the 1094 complaints recorded the day before. Reports were received from 50 states and territories, with California recording slightly more complaints than other locations. Telemarketing (including do not call and spoofing) recorded a slightly higher number of complaints than other issues.
