The complaints came from 47 states and territories, with California reporting a modestly higher count than the other locations. Complaints relating to Unwanted Calls were marginally higher than for other issue types.

Where the complaints came from

On 29 October 2016, the 429 complaints recorded by the Federal Communications Commission were reported from 315 cities across 47 states and territories.
