Introduction

The Federal Communications Commission recorded 36160 consumer complaints in October 2016 relating to telecommunications services, this was higher than the 30694 complaints recorded the month before. Complaints were reported across 56 states and territories, with California slightly ahead of the other locations. Complaints relating to Billing were marginally higher than for other issue types.
