Introduction
On 29 April 2018, the Federal Communications Commission recorded 342 consumer complaints relating to telecommunications services, this represented a decline from the 443 complaints recorded the day before. Reports were received from 41 states and territories, with Illinois accounting for the largest number of submissions at 75 complaints. Complaints relating to Unwanted Calls were marginally higher than for other issue types.

Where the complaints came from
On 29 April 2018, the 342 complaints recorded by the Federal Communications Commission were reported from 227 cities across 41 states and territories. Complaint activity was somewhat more concentrated than usual, with Illinois accounting for the largest share of reports.
