Introduction

On 12 April 2020, the Federal Communications Commission recorded 221 consumer complaints relating to telecommunications services, complaint volume fell from 314 complaints the day before. The complaints came from 42 states and territories, with California reporting a modestly higher count than the other locations. Complaints relating to Unwanted Calls were marginally higher than for other issue types.
