Introduction

On 7 January 2015, 1008 consumer complaints relating to telecommunications services were recorded in the Federal Communications Commission system, this was lower than the 1078 complaints recorded the day before. Reports were received from 50 states and territories, with California accounting for the largest number of submissions at 155 complaints. The largest number of complaints related to Telemarketing (including do not call and spoofing), with 418 complaints.

Where the complaints came from

On 7 January 2015, the 1008 complaints recorded by the Federal Communications Commission were reported from 710 cities across 50 states and territories. Complaint activity was fairly evenly distributed, with no single state or territory accounting for a large share of reports.
