Introduction

On Monday, 26 January 2015, 822 consumer complaints relating to telecommunications services were recorded in the Federal Communications Commission system, complaint volume increased from 257 complaints the day before. Reports were received from 47 states and territories, with California recording slightly more complaints than other locations. The most common issue reported was Telemarketing (including do not call and spoofing), accounting for 311 complaints.
