Introduction

On 20 June 2016, the Federal Communications Commission recorded 926 consumer complaints relating to telecommunications services, this was higher than the 258 complaints recorded the day before. Reports were received from 50 states and territories, with California recording slightly more complaints than other locations. Telemarketing (including do not call and spoofing) recorded a slightly higher number of complaints than other issues.
