FCC Consumer Complaints – June 2016

Introduction

A total of 30119 consumer complaints relating to telecommunications services were recorded by the Federal Communications Commission in June 2016, this was lower than the 39529 complaints recorded the previous month. Complaints were reported across 55 states and territories, with California slightly ahead of the other locations. Telemarketing (including do not call and spoofing) recorded a slightly higher number of complaints than other issues.

Where the complaints came from

A notable concentration at the city level was observed in District of Columbia, where Washington accounted for 121 of the 132 complaints recorded in the state.
