Introduction

On Wednesday, 24 April 2019, 1181 consumer complaints relating to telecommunications services were recorded in the Federal Communications Commission system, this represented an increase from the 982 complaints recorded the day before. The complaints came from 48 states and territories, with California reporting a modestly higher count than the other locations. The most common issue reported was Unwanted Calls, accounting for 828 complaints.

Where the complaints came from

Across 732 cities in 48 states and territories, a total of 1181 complaints were recorded on 24 April 2019. Complaint activity was fairly evenly distributed, with no single state or territory accounting for a large share of reports.
