The complaints came from 51 states and territories, with California recording the largest share of reports at 107 complaints. Complaints were most commonly associated with Unwanted Calls, accounting for 384 complaints.

Where the complaints came from

The 786 complaints recorded on 1 July 2022 were submitted from 537 cities across 51 states and territories. Overall, complaint activity was broadly distributed, with no single state or territory representing a significant proportion of the total. Despite the overall distribution, a notable concentration at the city level was observed in Kentucky, where Frankfort accounted for 19 of the 31 complaints recorded in the state.
