Introduction
A total of 495 consumer complaints relating to telecommunications services were recorded by the Federal Communications Commission on Saturday, 9 July 2022, this was lower than the 855 complaints recorded the day before. Complaints were reported across 44 states and territories, with California slightly ahead of the other locations. The largest number of complaints related to Unwanted Calls, with 208 complaints.

Where the complaints came from
Across 346 cities in 44 states and territories, a total of 495 complaints were recorded on 9 July 2022. Complaint activity was fairly evenly distributed, with no single state or territory accounting for a large share of reports.
