Introduction

The Federal Communications Commission recorded 1016 consumer complaints on 11 June 2021 relating to telecommunications services, complaint volume increased from 983 complaints the day before. The complaints came from 51 states and territories, with California recording the largest share of reports at 190 complaints. Unwanted Calls was the most frequently reported issue, with 672 complaints recorded.

Where the complaints came from

The 1016 complaints recorded on 11 June 2021 were submitted from 626 cities across 51 states and territories. Compared with most days, complaint activity was more concentrated, with California contributing the largest share of complaints. However, the most pronounced city-level concentration was observed in Arizona, where Glendale accounted for 45 of the 68 complaints recorded in the state.
