Introduction

The Federal Communications Commission recorded 31997 consumer complaints in May 2018 relating to telecommunications services, complaint volume increased from 30879 complaints the previous month. Complaints were reported across 55 states and territories, with California slightly ahead of the other locations. The most common issue reported was Unwanted Calls, accounting for 21992 complaints.

Where the complaints came from
